Jamea Educational Academy, Preston Construction Project
We have embarked on a journey to rebuild our madrasah / evening school due to it’s dilapidated and unsafe state.
Our ask to the community and ummah as a whole, is to continue to make duas to take our madrasah project to completion.
This Ramadhan, we are are raising £270,000 for our next phase of the madrasah building construction project. This includes the external windows, doors and atrium glass panels.
Who Are We?
Jamea Masjid & Educational Academy
As a registered Charity (charity no. 515749) and established for nearly 60 years in the heart of Preston, Jamea Masjid has been serving the people of Preston, Lancashire and beyond for many generations.
Evening classes (madrasah) provided by Jamea Masjid has positively impacted the lives of thousands over the years.
As the community grew, the need for more madrasah spaces were required – but the madarash was full. Alongside this, due to the ageing building, it fell into dilapidated state and unsafe for use.

Allhamdulilah, by the grace of the Almighty our plans to rebuild our madrasah is well under-way. We ask our community and the ummah as a whole to continue to make duas to take our madrasah project to completion.
The aim of our next phase this Ramadhan, is to raise funds for the external windows, doors and atrium panels. Please set-up a recurring payment or a one off donation to help achieve this goal.
External Windows 🪟 – 135 Windows @ £1,260 each
External Doors 🚪 – 12 Doors @ £1,667 each
Atrium Glass Panels 🏢 – 19 Panels @ £4,210 each
